Jenn HillJenn was never one of those people who knew exactly what she was going to do when she grew up. In fact, throughout her childhood she was determined to be a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, a fighter pilot, Indiana Jones, a wildlife photographer, a Broadway singer, a Navy SEAL, a zoologist, an anthropologist, and an FBI agent.

After completing an undergraduate degree in political science and deciding that she didn't want to become a lawyer, and save the world, Jenn moved to Bellingham and opened a business with her family. Although she held the title of operations manager, she quickly realized that as a small business owner you often wore several hats at the same time. When her family sold the business she stayed on with the national retail store as a manager broadening her experience in business finance and human resource management.

In 2004 Jenn graduated from Tulane University with a master's in public health in international health and development. It was in school that she discovered that her true passion was research, data analysis, and finding answers. Jenn worked as a research analyst in Kenya, Africa on several health and microfinance projects. When she returned to the U.S., she worked for an East Coast company monitoring and evaluating children's health programs and statewide health indicators.

Fate brought Jenn back to Bellingham and she joined the CEV as a research analyst in 2007. She is an avid traveler, the more remote the location the better, and loves hiking, camping, baking, and reading.
