Business Development Counseling
First meeting preparation
Please bring to first meeting
For a productive first meeting, we need you to bring:
- Profit and loss statement and balance sheet for the previous year
- Current year-to-date financial statements
- Any marketing literature used to promote your company. Please bring anything that shows us who you are and what you do.
Save time, download and complete intake form
Bring the completed intake form (PDF) to your first meeting. Otherwise, we will have one waiting for you to complete when you arrive.
Free parking
We offer free parking in the lot across from the Mount Baker Theatre. Just park in the lot and come in and ask for a parking voucher. The parking voucher needs to be placed on the dash board inside your car.
What to expect
The business development counseling is done in a safe, collaborative environment that allows for the investigation of client-driven issues.
You are going to meet one-on-one with a business strategist. Often the first meeting is assessment and information gathering. It is time to learn about your company, your background, and the issues you have going on in your business. Most of the time the experience involves several meetings. The need for economic gardening research requests or client homework is decided after the initial meeting.
