Eric Grimstead

Eric GrimsteadIt was at the tender age of 10, while working in the strawberry and spinach fields of Skagit Valley...long before the days of strictly enforced child labor laws...that Eric's dream of becoming an entrepreneur was starting to take root. He launched a number of semi-successful ventures while still only in high school and college. After earning a degree in marketing from the University of Puget Sound, he joined a diversified holding company which owned interests in commercial property, a boat manufacturing company, a marine retail business, and a bottled water distributor.

Over the course of 10 years Eric held positions ranging from "maharishi of marketing" to "chief bean counter." Highlights from these experiences included: growing sales of the boat manufacturing company from zero to four million dollars; boosting the marine retail business from $700,000 to nearly five million dollars; and overseeing a profitable spinoff of the bottled water company.

In addition, Eric has worked for one of the largest direct mail companies on the West Coast, and spent several years running his own marketing, consulting and web development company. Some of his past clients have included the Washington Nationals (MLB), Jafra Cosmetics and numerous small and mid-sized companies. Eric is a sought after expert in the areas of direct mail, internet marketing, website development and social media. As a web designer, he was an early pioneer of including video content on client's websites.

When he's not counseling business owners, pushing pixels or crunching code for clients, Eric can be found hunting, playing soccer or otherwise goofing off with his wife Kristal and their three kids.
